Picture your own personal island hideaway resort with two miles of white-sand beach. Found in the Turks and Caicos Islands, this Caribbean retreat is unique. Pine Cay is an isolated 800-acre island, handily located just 560 miles southeast of Miami. The sole resort on the island, the Meridian Club is good positioned on a two-mile stretch of talcum-powder beach, considered one of the best in the Caribbean.
Soothing trade winds guarantee cushty temperatures and low humidity year round. The resort is widely known for its wonderful cuisine, conscientious staff, and "barefooted elegance." Its rooms and cottages, tucked along the shoreline and dunes, all offer breathtaking perspectives of the sea and the island. Decide to relax in one of just twelve roomy beachfront guest rooms, the isolated Sand Greenback cottage, or a personal collection of personal cottages. Whether enjoying a romantic escape, a family journey or fun in the sea and sun, you will find the aquamarine waters and sugary sand impossible to resist. Shoeless casualness and sensitiveness to the natural environment mix to offer an appealing tropical setting for this little, unadorned and sun-drenched retreat. Ocean view dining, candlelit dinners, poolside Bbq's, deserted island picnics - all will become pleasant recollections of your stay at the Meridian Club. Dress at the Club is always casual and shoes are optional, even at dinner. Thongs with cover-ups or sport attire are normal at lunch. Informal summer evening attire for women, and sport shirts, slacks and even shorts for men, are ideal for dinner.
We had only 1 or 2 tie sightings on Pine Cay in the last 10 years. The Club is an environmentally delicate resort, superb for those looking for an unsullied retreat. Its twelve rooms and the Sand Greenback Cottage, are set among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes, and near to the beach. Some of the privately held cottages that share the island are also available to rent.
Guests spend their days relaxing and / or exploiting the resort's many surprising activities. Options contain swimming, biking, sailing, shelling, snorkeling, playing tennis, and swimming in the fresh-water pool.
